I am drawn to the meeting of sky and water – to the horizon where light shifts, clouds gather, and reflections blur the line between what is solid and what is fleeting. Through oil paint, I explore these quiet yet powerful moments in the landscape. 

     Skies and water offer endless variation.  A subtle change in light can transform mood, color, and atmosphere within minutes.  I am fascinated by that movement and by the sense of both calm and energy it creates.  My process is rooted in observation, but guided by emotion- layering oil paint to build depth, luminosity, and a feeling of openness. 

     The coastal landscapes that inspire me, provide more than scenery; they offer space for reflection.  In painting them, I hope to capture not only a place, but a mood- a moment of stillness, possibility, and connection to the natural world. 

     My work invites viewers to pause, breathe, and experience the subtle drama unfolding in sky and water.
